Every single tool or resource that I recommend is one that I've used myself to build my online business. I keep adding to the list as I discover new tools and resources. Rest assured that I will never recommend tools that I don't absolutely love.
I do earn a small commission on some of the tools and resources that I recommend but on most of the recommendations I earn nothing at all.
If you know of a better tool or resource than the one I'm using, please feel free to email me and let me know and I'd love to try it out. If it's better than my current tool or resource then I'll be happy to add it here.

Website Building Tools
I have two primary tools that I use to build all my websites and membership sites. The first is Optimize Press and that is the what I've used to create this very webpage you're reading right now. I love it simply because it's so versatile and can be used to do so many things:
- My blog is an Optimize Press Theme
- It builds sales pages, optin pages, webinar registration pages and more.
The other service I use is LeadPages. Now LeadPages is very similar to Optimize Press but there are some essential differences. You cannot use LeadPages to create membership sites. In addition to that the templates that LeadPages offers are not as easily customized as those offered by Optimize Press. You can edit them, of course, but you can't create a completely new look and feel like you can with OptimizePress. So why did I sign up for LeadPages then?
Because they offered one feature that OptimizePress lacked and that was the LeadBoxes and LeadMagnet delivery. When you're offering multiple lead magnets ,like I am, it can become quite a chore to create multiple squeeze pages, multiple lists and multiple download pages for each bribe you want to give away. Here's where LeadPages shines. You can create something called a LeadBox, where by clicking a simple text link, an image or a button, an optin box pops up for the subscriber to add their details. And then LeadPages can automatically deliver that particular lead magnet to the subscriber and join them to your main list. So no need for multiple squeeze pages, multiple mailing lists and multiple download pages. If you're offering multiple lead magnets but want subscribers to optin to one main list, then definitely consider Lead Pages.
One other advantage of Lead pages is that you can host the pages on your LeadPages sub-domain. That means you simply login to your LeadPages account and create a page and you're done. And you can publish your optin page to Facebook with one click of a button. And if you're building membership sites and want to be able to really customize your pages, then OptimizePress is the way to go. I use both and consider them both to be essential to my online business.
Graphic Design Tools
Another tool I use occasionally is PicMonkey.
To design infographics I use Piktochart. I've tried other services but I like Piktochart because of the huge variety of per-built templates that I can just easily edit for my own use.
And for eCovers that look like actual eBooks and for banners I use OnlineeCoverCreator. I designed the banner for this website in less than 10 minutes using this tool.
Occasionally I have to remove the background from an image and I've found a nifty little online tool called Clipping Magic.
List Building Tools
Both are easy to use and have great deliverability rates. In addition to that, I really love the GetResponse list building program which you get free when you join GetResponse. Each day you get a daily lesson with some step you can take to build your email list. It's great for beginners and even for more experienced marketers like myself. (You'll be amazed at how many little things you haven't done and that you could be doing to build your list).
